Our Mission
Pilsen Taco Fest is organized by Mateo Zapata and Fernando Nieto, two young local entrepreneurs raised in Pilsen - we set out to create a space that celebrates the importance of diversity and rich culture in our community. Pilsen Taco Fest, is open to public, all-ages and free admission. Inner City Culture - a non profit organization that focuses curating events in order to directly provide resources for inner city youth. In 2018, Inner City Culture will be donating a portion of the proceeds from Pilsen Taco Fest to the Las Monarcas Student Club Scholarship Fund at Benito Juarez Community Academy.
Pilsen Taco Fest is an event that supports our community and also brings together people from all over the city to check out local stand-up comedians, musical performers, artisans and of course, tacos!
